Crazy Videos

If you have been reading this blog, then you already know that I love music and everything that revolves around music.  Whether it’s a great song on an old LP Album or a new style of music which has no name yet, or crazy videos.  Music to me is a getaway to another place.

A while back, I came across some very innovative and adventurous types of music videos on youtube, crazy videos which made me laugh like hell.  These videos are not in English, but someone has added English subtitles to them.  The subtitles are not a real translation of the song lyrics, but rather an interpretation of what the lyrics sound like in English, and what makes them really funny, is how well the English subtitles sound like the lyrics.

The videos are also an indication of how easily the human brain can be persuaded into thinking a certain way.

Below are a couple of my personal favorites.

I love music!  Music is like a good book, it will take you places that you have never been before and it will keep you coming back for more.  If you are anything like me, you spend hours upon hours with the music playing.  I take it everywhere and listen with every chance I get.  Yes, I am a music junkie.  Always have been, always will be.

There have been a lot of talk in recent years regarding free music on the web.  Most of you have probably downloaded a song or two from media sharing, or torrent sites.  The problem with these websites is that you don’t have the rights to that music, and therefore are taking a chance that you will be caught and ultimately punished, usually with legal action from the record companies which you have stolen the music from.

The good news is that you can listen to free music on the web anytime you like.  My personal favorites are sites like Imeem.com and shoutcast.com.
With imeem.com, you can access pretty much any music that you want, and it is completely legal, and best of all, free.  You don’t have to worry about the internet police knocking on your door and taking you away.

I love shoutcast.com.  This internet radio website has any and all music genres to choose from, including indie music stations to take you away from the highly marketed mainstream music scene and show you an array of great musical talent that is out there.

If you want to download the music and you want to do it through legal channels, there are websites out there that will allow you to download music for a small fee.  If you are a music lover who wants to build up your library, but want to do it legally, the Itunes music store website may be the thing for you.  You can find almost any music single or whole albums to download on the website.   Prices for single songs usually range from 69 cents to $1.29, with entire albums usually going for $9.99.  Itunes is not the only website to provide this service, so my advice to you is to do a search on google.

Innovative Music

In keeping with the theme of innovative music, we thought that it would be appropriate to direct this post to those of you whom are tremendously talented, but lack the funds to purchase a musical instrument to show off your talent.  Don’t worry if you fall into this category because you not the only one.   The key is not to give up.

Let’s face it, not everyone has cash laying around to buy a guitar, piano or a horn, but there are ways around this dilemma.  There are many people whom are driven  to achieve their goals, goals which sometimes seems insurmountable because of the obstacles that are present.  I, for one am a really big fan of such people.

Since there is nothing like video to explain, We felt that the videos below show exactly what we are talking about.

These videos show two different people playing two different “musical instruments”, and let me tell you that they are phenomenal.

Enjoy!
