My debut album, Spectrum Suite, was the music I first heard in my dreams and meditations in 1969. When I shared these soundscapes with others, their response was so enthusiastic, that my life changed virtually overnight. Since then, this music has traveled around the world. It’s been said that at any given moment, Spectrum Suite is playing somewhere in the world. Chakra Suite is the new incarnation of this landmark album, and contains as bonus tracks, the entire album that was the original Spectrum Suite. In fact, the original title for my debut album was going to be Chakra Suite–however, there was not much awareness of charkas in 1975, let alone the importance of composing music to balance them. Today, millions of people understand their importance and stores have entire sections devoted to them. Each keynote of Chakra Suite adds swirling harmonics and overtones that I believe deliver an extraordinary psycho-acoustic effect. Listen with headphones a (more…)

About the Artist

A great believer in embracing technological advancements, Caballero says, “In the future, I foresee that artists will jointly create pieces through seamless collaboration between different art sources in which sounds, light and space will co-exist, interact and change dynamically.” David Caballero (aka GNOMUSY) began playing keyboards at age seven and composing music at age ten, he says, as a way to express himself and his perception of reality. After several years of piano studies at the Royal Conservatory of Madrid (Spain), David explored other styles such as Andinian, Jazz, Ragtime, Bluegrass, Folk and Celtic music. This gave him the opportunity to develop a mosaic of influences and to discover the mysteries of the various instruments he practiced including piano, keyboards, guitar, mandolin, banjo and the flute. From the Artist

In 2002 my Sound Healing students requested I create a composition that would harmonize with Ohm based Tuning Forks. This is where the idea began for the composition, There’s No Place Like Ohm, first released in 2003. In this recording I explored the concept of creating an entire musical composition in the key of Ohm (Om), a healing earth tone. Both Volumes of this work were created during my healing journey from cancer, and were especially rich experiences for me as I turned to nature and sounds of the earth for personal healing. -Marjorie de Muynck
